Tacky Jack’s

is a legendary honky-tonk, oyster bar, and seafood restaurant on Orange Beach’s beachfront. A must-visit for tourists to Alabama’s Gulf Coast since the 1960s, Flora-Bama is a major party destination with five stages hosting nightly live music. The Wharf at Orange Beach

In May, The Hangout Music Festival
brings three days of performances from superstar acts to the beaches of Gulf Shores. Past headliners have included Billie Eilish, Foo Fighters, Kendrick Lamar, The Killers, Lana Del Rey, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stevie Wonder, and The Weeknd. May also offers the chance to take to the skies and enjoy panoramic views over the Gulf during the annual Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival
Flora-Bama hosts famous themed beach parties attracting crowds from far and wide. April’s Interstate Mullet Toss
sees competitors attempt to throw a mullet as far as possible across the Alabama and Florida state line. On New Year’s Day, the Flora-Bama Polar Bear Dip
kicks off the year with thousands braving the Gulf’s brisk January waters. Those who fully submerge themselves in the Gulf’s waters are rewarded with a free New Year’s lunch and beer. The Gulf provides opportunities for plenty more activities — boating excursions allow guests to take in unforgettable sunsets and the chance to see dolphins frolicking in the water.
